Look For It Each Friday*
Each Friday, this blue folder will be sent home with your child. Parkside makes an effort to put as many of the fliers, menus, etc. as possible in the Homework folders instead of on other days of the week. Room 9 homework is also sent home on Fridays. *On weeks with no school on Friday, I will let you know whether or not it will be sent home.
Empty & Return The Folder
Please take out all the papers and return the folder on Monday or the day after you receive the folder. Homework packets should not be returned until Thursday so your child can keep studying the spelling words and keep track of reading minutes throughout the week.
Treat Your Folder With TLC
The first folder is given to each student for their use during the year. If he/she should lose the folder, the replacement cost is $1.00. It will need to make about 40 trips to and from school so take good care of it.
